Soaring excitement!

Postby Fozzer » Sun May 02, 2010 6:04 am

Hello Chums!.... ;D...!

For some added excitement for we low and slow flyers in our small Piston Props, Ultralights, Hang Gliders, etc...

....give some of these a try: "Soaring Scenery"...>>>

http://www.simviation.com/fsgliders_36.htm

They add special clouds to the scenery, which give extra "lift", and a bumpy ride to your usual every-day flights... ;)...!

Loads of files for different parts of the world!

I have the; "Whole of California" File installed in my Add-on Scenery Folder, and wherever I take off, these "special clouds" will appear!
They can be recognised as conical-shaped Clouds, and when approaching them/in them, the effects can be experienced!

It can add an exciting, bumpy ride, in additions to the Default/REX, etc, Clouds!... :o...!

Don't forget to take your "Sick-Bag" with you!... :o.... ;D...!

I also managed to find a Glider fitted with one of those "Audio Variometers". Works wonderfully...Must fit the gauge in some of my other aircraft!

Do stop in at Wolfgang Piper's site:
http://www.fsglider.de/p_e.htm
The granddaddy of gliders in FS...

Also see if you can get hold of CCS 2004 somewhere.
It's a thermals programme which is as Real as it Gets, even does ridge soaring.
