Need help please, AfterBurners gone...

Hi, I have many hours in FS and is the first time this happens to me.
I lost all my afterburner effect, in various (think all that use AB) aircraft. I reinstalled or downloaded news but didn't work. For example, Alphasim B-58, classic Viper, classic AF-18 among other. Paywares and freeones.
The setting in the game screen options, are as always. almost at max,
All otter effects (smoke, trails,  tires, etc) works well.
I think the problem can be in the fs9.cfg, as there are different .fx files that didn`t work.

do you get any sort of error message now that the burners are missing?

My first thought, is being that you downloaded so many aircraft that require burners, one of the craft over-wrote the Texture File for the burners, or some how, (like below) you have a gauge file that is now corrupt and/or missing.  that is why they no longer work.

check your Panel.cfg files for each craft and look for a gauge called:
gauge34=[glow=yellow,2,300]rcb-gauges!F14EffectControl[/glow], 0,0

this is just one of the gauges that can control Afterburners. 

all of the planes that you have downloaded and installed, are they only from Alphasim?? or have you download and tried some Freeware F14, F15, 16, 18... others from here on SimV that have burners??  Do those work for you???

Propwash, thanks for your answer.
The problem is for freeware, ex. the F-16 viper and F-18, and payware too, beeing the alphasim B-58 the only payware with AB i have. Seems affect all aircraft.
