Malpensa problem

Postby amaru » Fri Dec 25, 2009 3:44 pm

Hi all,

I'm not sure if it's only me but with the 2 different CDs I have for FS2004 (both tried for at least 2 pcs) I found that the runways in Malpensa (Milan) Airport are dodgy. When you're taking off from the runway the aircraft goes on a bumpy up and down along the runway then shortly after you get a crash, landing always result in a crash! do you also get the same problem? any suggestions for how to fix it? because I love flying around Europe and I love Alitalia

Many thanks,
amaru

I just tried it - in my completely default FS2004 setup - and while the runway is a bit bumpy, I did not get a crash at all.  My tests were in the default Beech Baron and I tried it with "Ignore crashes" on and with it off.

What "enhancements"  (terrain or anything else) do you have installed for this area?

Well - I've not noticed those bumpy runways before!   I've just taken an FFK 737-200 up & down, with t/o & landing on both runways without problems....the front hydraulics took it really well  :D
When the c**p hits the fan, get a tent.
