FS9 in Vista 64 bit

FS9 in Vista 64 bit

I would be interested to hear from anyone running FS9 on Vista 64bit, on my PC i have installed FS9 and the sim runs fine except I have an issue with the textures on the airplanes and scenery especially add on scenery,

I've had that problem before (XP and Windows 7) with the plane's textures looking like someone turned off the lights... It turned out to be because I installed the model or textures wrong.

Just go back and redo it, making sure you're doing it right. Make sure you always read the readme file.

I run FS9 in Vista 64 without any real problems.

My thanks to all  for your replies, I think i will have to live with this frustrating texture problem, the sim works well otherwise, I have found a way of correcting the textures both aircraft and scenery, by adjusting the settings on the display back to default and then adjusting back to customise, this is fine as long as I do not press the Alt key or the ESC key, then the lights go out, FSX works very well on this PC, I also have FS9 on my XP PC runnig like a Rolls Royce, I will live with it, if I ever find a solution I will post on this forum. Again thanks to all who tried to help
