Gorkha Airlines Angel 44

Postby Travis » Wed Jul 01, 2009 9:34 am

For those of you who have already downloaded the new repaint I made of the Angel in the Gorkha Airlines livery: I forgot to add a significant point in the CFG changes: turbocharging the aircraft.  It's the only way to get the thing to fly relatively well above 10,000 MSL, which is where this airline operates most of the time.

To accomplish this, all you have to do is open the CFG file and find the section labeled [piston_engine] and change the 0 next to "turbocharged" to a number 1.  I caution you to not use this unless you are going to be flying above 10,000 MSL for extended periods since it tends to overpower the aircraft at lower altitudes.

I've already contacted Pete to see if he can edit the existing upload to correct these changes, but if he can't I'll just make another upload.  But it seems silly to do so for such a minor change.

Travis:

I've installed this plane, and would love to try it out; I really like the Angel.

This is an issue you should email me about, but to answer your question: no, there isn't any issue with the model or airfile.

Did you download the original file from here?
