Hi all.
Just a quick question.
Today I was making a flight in a payware C208B (feelthere.com) from Glasgow to the Isle of Barra when the electrics and avionics cut out during cruise. I found the nearest airport by looking out the window (Tiree) and made an emergency landing (without flaps I might add because they refused to function.)
Upon landing and with the thrust reverser engaged my engine suddenly died as well.
My question is whether the faulire of the engine has anything to do with the electrics failure. If so, why did the engine operate normally until after touchdown?
Had the engine failed a minute earlier than it did I surely would have crashed short of the runway!
I've been simming for 4 years, always with 'random failures' but this is this first time there's ever been any kind of incident! I feel I handled it quite well, but am just completely puzzled about why the engine then quit also...
Anyway, happy simming!
A310!
