Light switches - Tim Conrad's T-33A

I've recently downloaded the subject aircraft from SimV (Pg 24 - Military) together with Bob Chicilo's 1st update (Pg 67)and I just discovered the 2nd update (pg 86), but havnt yet installed it.

While the rest of the light switches are operational, the "Landing" and "Taxi" light switches wont stay in the ON position when I try to set them. There doesn't seem to be anything suspicious in the aircraft .cfg file that I can see. Anyone have any suggestions? :-?

Install the second update? ;)

It is probably the electrical systems.  I'm not too familiar with how they work, but someone else might have an idea.

I installed the 2nd update right after I posted my query, but it only concerned a couple of enhancements (smoke and contrails), and didn't solve the problem. I guess flying this aircraft at night isn't on the smart list.

I tried it & all seems to work for me. Note that this is Piglet's original without any updates. http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military24.htm

Yes Hagar. I have come to the conclusion that the problem is being caused by the updates. Two of the update effects are tied into the two lights - "Wingtip Contrails, via Light #5 (Landing light)" and "Afterburner, via Light #6 (Taxi light, Engine-1)" I'm going to delete those parts of the updates and see if that corrects the problem. If it doesn't, I'll delete the entire updates . Thanks for the comments. :)
