Shimmering textures

I'm pretty much a newby to this forum and to flight simming in general with FS2004. I have a problem in that I've just upgraded to a new Radeon HD4850 graphics card and I cant seem to get rid of that awful shimmering texture effect on the ground and on night time lit objects. How do I set up the driver setting for this card. All help greatly appreciated
