Ever sense I started added aircraft to my fs2004 game, everything takes close to 10 mins to load a flight at first. Could this have anything to do with adding aircraft, or could it be something else. I have only added about 12 aircraft so far. If anyone has any ideas about what is causing this or how to change it, I'm all ears.

Well, I am not sure it relates, but once I started adding add-ons, I got this small window telling me that the default aircraft I wanted was not available. I just clicked on it and it went away. The sim loaded and launched as usual, but not until I clicked the small window. That went on for months. In just the past day or so, that window has disappeared. Not that I miss it or anything. Sim now loads like it did on Day One...

Jason,
Load times certainly can become longer as you begin install add-ons. How much would depend on your system. However, a ten minute load time, after adding only a dozen or so aircraft does seem to be a bit much. Have you cleaned up your hard drive, and or scanned for spyware lately? If not, that is always a good place to start.

Filling us in on your system specs may be helpful too. :)

Another thing that myself and nearly all of us here a SimV swear by, are the tweaks laid out by Nick Needham. http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2 ... 1208959973

It should be noted however, if you follow this guide, make you you FOLLOW it. Start to finish.
