I've been playing around with the mentor which i have'nt touched in some time and dicided to down load some new textures... but this one has the windows greyed out... any idea how i can change it to clear window? (lift a file from an other txture for the same plane?) it only has problem in VC.

Hi.

You can just about see some clouds through the canopy, so it looks like the alpha channel on the texture used for the canopy may not be set right. If you open the canopy texture in DXPBmp or equivalent, then you'll be able to confirm which file it is, and what the alpha channel transparency is set to.

You could do what I did with Fravin's Cessna 150 Aerobat, which had the same kind of issue. If you open the alpha channel for edit from DXTBmp, then increase the transparency or the canopy portions by darkening the fill level from, say an R-G-B level of 140-140-140 (mid-grey) to around 100-100-100 (darker grey), the transparency will increase. Play with the figures until you get a level that you're happy with.

Back up the originals first, of course!
