Mike Stone's Aircraft

Postby eyton402 » Sat Feb 07, 2009 7:12 am

I recently downloaded a collection of Mike Stone's aircraft from a link provided here = .http://fsfiles.org/PA/index.php?act=view&id=13.
Unfortunately  after downloading I could not open because =[b][/b The Compressed(zipped) Folder is invalid or corupted.  This of course begs the question,  what did I download?
Could this be a problem my end?

I just downloaded the file to check it out for you. No problems here. It's quite a large file so it's possible your download was interrupted & therefore corrupt. The file size should be 89.7 Mb. If yours is different I suggest you try downloading it again.

That's not what "beg the question" means.

Did you check the file size of the downloaded zipfile? Which utility do you use for extracting zipfiles?

The alternative is to download the files separately. Then you will get the ones you want. Most of Mike Stone's aircraft are posted here at Simviation & all over the Internet.

Wow!  This a great forum.  I get two for the price of one = an english lesson and a remedy to my problem. (I tried the download again and it worked.)

Thanks for both.  By the way, Im embarrassed to say until now I really didnt understand the meaning of begging the question.

Mmmmm.  I'd not call that an 'english lesson' as that's not what you're here for, is it?    I went to that file site & downloaded Mike Stone's aircraft & whoever decided to collect them all in one place deserves a medal  ::)
