Gonna need help with this one.

Whenever I fly near Florida, I get the stutters. Whenever I fly further south in the Carib I get a CTD shortly after take off.
I can fly from Key West to Cuba but once east of Havana the sim crashes. I was able to fly east to some of the keys west of Miami and then south to the Dominican Republic but now can't fly out of DR in any direction.

I've disabled all add-on scenery for that area.
I was using some add-on water textures but have since reinstalled the default.
I have used a program to find all landclass files and have disabled them.
I have moved all add-on AI traffic files so they have been disabled.

I was thinking maybe there was a scenery file that did not have the associated texture. But I would think by disabling all add-on scenery in that area would take care of that.

I simply can't think of anything else I can disable or remove that might cause these problem.

SOooooo..........what next?

Tried deleting the fs9.cfg file yet? All settings will need to be redone but this often fixes problems (may want to just move it to a backup location and let the sim rebuild it upon restarting). Good luck.

This may be, unfortunately, a case of trial and error; try disabling one scenery, see what it does, and then repeat.  :-/

It's Castro. He don't want you in his airspace...

I've deleted and let the sim rebuild the cfg file 3 times.
I'm south of the triangle at the moment.
I pay Castro too much to use his airspace.

Trial and error seems to be the most likely way to fix this. Wish me luck.
