The view commands should already be assigned to the Num Pad keys by default.
I copied these from the list of key commands in the Learning Center. (Note that the standard view commands like Num Pad 8 are written as SHIFT+Num Pad 8 for some reason. I think this applies with Num Lock OFF. It's not necessary to press the Shift key with Num Lock ON.)
Look Ahead SHIFT+Num Pad 8
Look Ahead/Right SHIFT+Num Pad 9
Look Right SHIFT+Num Pad 6
Look Back/Right SHIFT+Num Pad 3
Look Back SHIFT+Num Pad 2
Look Back/Left SHIFT+Num Pad 1
Look Left SHIFT+Num Pad 4
Look Ahead/Left SHIFT+Num Pad 7 ================
You should be able to change them from FS9 Settings/Assignments if you wish but I don't see the point.

Thanks Hagar. I want to alter a panel with views I have for a Dassault 50 for use with Mike Stones 20 in FRA garb. I've replaced the forward bmp with the proper 2 engined panel but want to delete the R & L forward views which will leave the views open. I just wanted to move the side views up from 4 to 7 on the left & 6 to 9 on the right!. It's a technical problem I'd like to solve as I don't know how the aiignments work.
Still not sure why you want to do this but it should be easy enough to change key assignments from FS9 Settings/Assignments. Click the Buttons/Keys tab & find the view you wish to change. Select the command & click the Change Assignments button. Press the key you wish to operate it.
I use the HAT switch on my joystick for different views. This is set up on the default assignments & works very well. I don't know how changing them would affect it.
PS. Why not remove those forward views you don't want from Panel.cfg? Deleting the BMPs from the Panel folder would probably do it.
