Got it thanks to you but i have a couple of question..

1.Please see pictures below,

while i am under 9000 feet it works fine the second I am over it clears up and i get unlimted is there any way to fix this in the config file?

under 9000

over 9000

It makes it a little unrealistic..  :-?

Question 2. Can I use one of the pre set weather sets and the 5 - 10 mi sight distance thing?

Thanks again for all your help!

1) Easy....
World - Weather - (bullet in "user defined weather") Customize Weather - Advanced Weather - Visibility Tab and set the "Tops" to whatever height you wish.

2) Yes. First, choose the weather theme you would like and load it. Then go back into the Weather control box, put a bullet in the "user defined weather" line, click the Customize weather button, and set the visibility to whatever you wish. Once the weather theme is loaded, you will retain that theme, allowing you to futher customize it as you see fit.

I must admit that I have always found the Flight Sim's "Weather" to be a little unpredictable, from time to time....Overcast to clear, and vice versa...

Most of the time, I just put up with it... :(...!

The only time I find it mostly consistent is when I apply "Real Weather" in the Weather options.

I would personally recommend around 20-30 miles max visibility, based on my real world flying experiences. Limiting yourself to 5-10 seems pretty low to me for all but the stormiest parts of the world.

I have noticed, in real flight, that when low-level airborne in the Club's Cessna 150/152s, that the scenery over 5 Miles distance is generally blurred by Fog, Mist. Drizzle, Smoke, Low Cloud, Haze, Low Sun, etc...or any combination, which results in the approaching scenery becoming clearer, gradually, as one approaches it...

Often, the desired Airstrip configuration can only be clearly seen when within a couple of miles of it!*... :o...!

Paul...FS 2004...Love in a Mist... 8-)...!

*...either that...or my eyesight is gradually failing!... :'(.... ;)... ;D....!

I often look out of my Bedroom window to see how far I can see objects CLEARLY in the distance...Most days, its not very far!
