Downloading aircraft

This is my first attempt at downloading a specific aircraft. The aircraft is from FS2004 - Vintage - Pg 69 - Spitfire Mk. VIII & Mk. IX. The instructions state: "Extract all the files into your FS2004 root folder." I'm not sure exactly which folder is the root folder.

The root folder is the main FS9 folder. My directory to the root folder looks like this:
D:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9
The folder titled Flight Simulator 9 is the root folder.
Beyond that, if I were you, to make sure that the addon does not unnecessarily overwrite anything, I would just extract it to a temporary folder on your desktop, and manually install the aircraft.
