hello can somebody help with atc problem

Postby sherpa555 » Mon Dec 29, 2008 2:21 pm

just installed fs 2004 on vista ultimate 32 bit (express install)
game runs okay, except no atc, the atc menu comes up asking to choose option, tower or ground etc, but clicking any option with mouse
nothing happens? menu seems dead, tried different planes/flights, enabled settings for atc
still the same, uninstalled and reinstalled still  atc menu not working,
have had fsx on this machine previousley(now uninstalled) and atc worked fine.
I have searched high and low in vain for a solution, just hoping some of you kind people can help

I wasn't aware that you could use the mouse for doing that, try just pressing the number key for the option you want and see if that does the trick, that is the only way I was aware of that the ATC menu could be used. :)

And Welcome to SIMV!

you mean you click the numerical option in the pop-up menu?

The numbers next to the option indicate what NUMBER key you should push on top of your keyboard not using the mouse. ;)

Actually you can add a mouseable gauge to virtually any panel to respond to ATC directives.  This file will show how it is easily accomplished:

Enjoy!   :grin
