A Couple Of Questions! (About Panel's etc)

Hi everyone , I just recently installed the Overland Fly Into The Sky! world airlines package , and I basically just have a few questions regarding the panels & sounds.

1. Can I replace the Overland 2D 777 Panel with this one without a problem?:

http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=87217

2. Also regarding the sound packages available on avsim , I want the 3 different sound set's for the 777,so that's the RR Trent 800 , GE90 , PW4000 , now considering I have various airlines repaints for the 777 in the same aircraft.cfg in the 777 folder,those airlines use different engine types eg: SQ use RR & JAL use PW4000 & GE90.

My question is can I have 3 sound folders in my 777 aircraft folder,say something like sound.GE , sound.RR , sound.PW & then just edit the aircraft.cfg for each airlines sound, eg: sound GE in the JAL repaint?

Thanks guys , as I'm totally unsure about these things.

Hi. It occurs to me that it might be better to ask this on the Avsim forum. However, to answer your questions;

1. You can use any 2D panel you wish with any aircraft. It's also possible to use different panels with different variations of the same aircraft. If it has a VC you can copy the appropriate entries from the original Panel.cfg.

My question is can I have 3 sound folders in my 777 aircraft folder,say something like sound.GE , sound.RR , sound.PW & then just edit the aircraft.cfg for each airlines sound, eg: sound GE in the JAL repaint?

2. Yes.

Good morning Hagar - I hope you had an OK day yesterday!!
I've just read your reply here & it's never occurred to me to replace the VC entries from one to another!!   Nice one - I'll give it whirl  ;D
