After I select the HH-65c, and hit the FLY NOW! button, the 'copter, when finished loading, ends up about 3 or 4 feet into the runway. This in turn causes the sim to simulate an aircraft

Try replacing your contact points section with this:

[contact_points]
static_pitch = -00
static_cg_height = 5.38
max_number_of_points = 3

point.0 = 1, 10.2398, 0, -5.1666, 1200, 0.0, 0.5, 45, 0.3, 2.5, 0.687, 3, 3, 0, 200, 200
point.1 = 1, -2.5566, -3, -5.3001, 1200, 1.0, 0.6, 0, 0.3, 2.5, 0.687, 3, 3, 0, 200, 200
point.2 = 1, -2.5571, 3, -5.3001, 1200, 2.0, 0.6, 0, 0.3, 2.5, 0.687, 3, 3, 0, 200, 200
gear_system_type=0

I use the HH-65C quite a bit, and I added every paintjob that I know of on the internet, and also made some cockpit mods based off of FSPainter's mod of Antti's original AS365 short nose.
Throughout this, I also found the contact points fix somewhere, and it is now my favorite helicopter to fly!

Hello, My name is Maurizio.
I have problems with the directional indicator on the CDI HH-65C.

When imposed the VOR frequency indicator does not place.

What could be the problem?

Thanks

I remember having issues with this gauge in the past, in that the ADF portion never worked. It may need to be replaced with another gauge. I'll look into it later.

Resetting the contact points did the trick.

Thanks! SeanTK.

To adjust the contact points, open the aircraft.cfg with notepad or Wordpad, and copy and paste my contact points section into the contact points section that is already there, replacing it.

I will have to search for a replacement gauge later in order to get the VOR system to work, in the mean time, just use the GPS system. I believe it is one of the shift+# keys, so try one of those.
