Avoidz:
Like I thought; the engine failure is either incorporated into the model or in the engine temp. gauge. Either way, I can't adjust it and frankly; I'm not really inclined to - the QCC2 is a lovely little ship and little bits of reality like that really enhance the experience, IMO.
(Yes - I'm known for tweaking planes, but I usually leave Bill Lyons' work alone - I've rarely found anything to tweak on his planes that actually makes 'em
better - they're perfect right out of the crate!

)
If you want to fly a bit faster, here's a little tweak that can help though - note that I'm not recommending this 'cause it takes from the realism a bit but if you want to, here's how to do it:
Open the aircraft'.cfg file, and scroll down to the [Flight Tuning] heading.
Change the Parasite Drag variable from 1.0 to 0.75 - that allows the ship to fly a bit faster (75kias@2000') while leaving the slow-flight characteristics largely untouched. Save, and off you go.

I tried it with an utterly lovely flight from Lake Hood (4S2) to Seattle by way of Mt. St. Helens, then replaced the original specs and flew back - the extra ten minutes were, IMO worth the slower cruise but I can certainly appreciate the interest in flying a
bit faster.

Hope this helps!
(P.S. - thanks for reminding me of this lovely little ship. Flying it with Active Camera (which I just got around to buying) is utter magic. Really - I shoulda got AC
years ago!
