Can anyone tell me why there is a green glow around my nav lights? it makes them look really bad. All the nav lights do it (the lights on the tips of the wings... don't know if that's what they're called) except for the red one on the left wing. it's a posky 737ng.

anyone?

thanks

Check your aircraft.cfg [light] section, you probably have a light "fx_navgre".

Forgive me if this is a silly question, but is a green nav light a problem?

It's only this model that does it. I guess it's just the POSKY effects...

Green nav lights are no problem  ;D but it's the glow around them (very hard to see in the picture) that bothers me...

Eh, doesn't matter too much anyways. I'm doing a full reinstall of FS9 tomorrow

Right SubZ....Posky aircraft have Posky light effects which IMHO are sometimes, as you say "UGLY".

Easy enough to substitute nav lights etc from other aircraft or the defaults..........look in the aircraft.cfg lighting section for the solution...commoner ;)

I think that the Posky nav lights may well be hard-coded into the model because of the flexing wings (FX-based lights can float in mid-air when the wings flex). Nick's Light Fix may well modify the appearance of the lights, so that might be worth a try. (In the downloads section here, I think.)
