Overspeed

hello,
When I fly my Airbus a321 in real world weather, I crusie at Mach .80 and it is flying fine for a long time with no problems and then just suddenly I see the speed literally moves from mach .80 to mach .84 in an instant. This causes my aircraft to overspeed making my FSPassengers report bad.
Anyone else experienced this problem, and how do you fix it?

My guess is a wind speed/direction shift causing a sudden increase in air speed.
I find that when flying rw weather, 15 minute update, that conditions can change quite suddenly when new updates arrive.

I can almost guarantee that it is due to shifting winds, as I encounter this frequently on my sim. About the only solution is to slow down enough that the shifts don't cause an overspeed.

One of the bad things about using FS real world generated weather you have no way of knowing what the winds aloft are going to be and what they are at each waypoint in your route. That is why I use Active Sky after making your flight plan you use it to generate a plan that shows you what the weather is at each way point. Of course that still does not mean you wont get a unexpected guest.

You have to be careful of flying (cruising) at a speed that is really close to the maximuim at altitude.... due to "Coffin Corner" anyway. A simple wind shift that causes it to overspeed probebly says you are too close.
