computer reboots

howdy all,
            i like flying the ms 2004 a lot. allthough i keep having issues with the computer rebooting after about 10 minutes of flying. i reformated my computer a couple of weeks ago. i got all of the updated drivers and such. i am running windows vista. up untill i reformated my computer it was working just fine. i have just a basic install with the game alomg with the update from microsoft. it boots up just fine. the graphics are super. its just that it reboots after a few minutes. my flight sim x works just fine. please help.

Perhaps your graphics card or CPU is overheating?

Those are the two main things that I can think of that would totally reboot the computer.

I would just check to make sure that you are getting proper airflow, and perhaps download an app that measure the temps of various components within your computer.

If FSX works just fine by fs2004 does not.... it is likely not a graphics card or overheating issue.

Sounds more like a corrupt install or missing texture file or something.

hmm...didn't see the comment about FSX working fine, with FS2004 failing.

In that case, I would just go with what JBaymore said....a corrupt install.
