Some time ago, some helpful soul advised me how to adjust eyepoints in VC.      I have since forgotten his advice.      Can some other helpful soul refresh my memory please?

Move up = Shift+Enter
Move down = Shift + Backspace
Move backward = Ctrl + Backspace
Move forward = Ctrl + Enter
Move left = Ctrl+Shift+Enter
Move right = Ctrl+Shift+Backspace.

I can't reference FS right now, so I might have some of these backwards, but just try these key combinations.
You also may want to try the free "F1 View" utility.

If you want to make a permanent adjustment, it's just as easy.

Open your Aircraft.cfg file and scroll down until you see the [views] heading. It looks like this:
[Views]
eyepoint=0.7, -0.94, 0.1

The three values for the eyepoint represent, in order, the longitudinal (front/back) the lateral (left/right) and vertical (up/down). Play with them until you get the result you want; they give you a lot of flexibility. For example; in this example changing the -0.94 by removing the '-' will make it look like you're flying from the right seat. :) Neat, huh?

Cheers!

Thats great info Staiduk, Thanks. Now what if I want to change the angle of the default forward veiw? as in the location of the eyepoint is good but it's looking to much downward, or upward. Of course I am talking VC not 2d

That's a good question Rom; I really have no idea. I'm certain VC view always starts facing directly forward; but I could easily be mistaken. I'll try a few ideas and get back to you. :)

Nada, sorry. If there is a way, I can't figure it out.
