Compatibility issues

What are the compatibility issues when trying to use a FS98 model in FS2004, and are they resolveable? I've never tried this before, but I have used FS2000 and FS2002 models with some degree of sucess. Just curious before I put one in and mess something up.
Thanks. :)

The biggest ones are missing gear and missing props or turbines inside of jet engines. But to me it was the missing gear a B747-400 looks weird suspended in mid air and forget trying to land that is a real trip.
There re others but I can not remember them all. 8-)

Thanks for the reply. :) I had found a batwing for firemonte007, but it was for FS98 and I didn't want to give him a useless download. ;) I have tested it out now, and it appears to work ok, the gear as you mentioned, don't work perfect while retracting or extending, but I guess that's just a small issue. ;) Thanks again.

Hi...was it this one from Flightsim....  batwing.zip ...it seems to work just fine...the gear is present and works if you say NO when asked about compatibility.....If you clicked YES then open your fs9.cfg file and look for this section...and change the 0 to 1........commoner ;)

That's the one! ;) It does work nice, although a little underpowered in my opinion, but I guess we can't have it all (yet ;D) I was surprised a model that old would work that smoothly, and I found it very odd that it has a VC of sorts, but no 2d panel. :-?  Thanks for the tip. :)
