Do you have the Christen Eagle II from LIC?

Once again, I've put on my "creativity hat" and decided to continue making new airshow smoke effects. I started with one for jet aircraft, and that needs A LOT more work.
However, I have gotten pretty close to finishing the one for props.
So, if you have the Eagle from LIC, and would like to try it out, I'd love to hear what you think of it BEFORE I upload it anywhere. I plan to make one generic effect for use with all prop a/c, and one for use with all jets, but for now (testing purposes) it's positioned for use with the Eagle mentioned above.
Anyone wanna try it out?

Will it work in FSX also, or would I need to put the plane in FS9 also?
Not a problem if that's what I need to do, I love this plane!

It would "work" in FSX too, but the positioning is different between the too sims. Right now it's only for FS9. (an FSX version may follow later)

Just to point out it's Christen Eagle. Named after the designer Frank Christensen.

I have it and it's a wonder. Beats the Extra hands down for fun. The detail is excellent and the gauges in the Spot view react just as they do in the 2D panel view. Now, that's class...
Couldn't agree more. I "souped" mine up a little by adding a little more power, and a bit more control surface effectiveness and man, does she scream!

What did you do? Mine is stock. Does adding more propellor blades do anything?

I don't know about more blades, but under the heading of [piston engine], I upped the cylinder displacement to from 90 to 140, and the compression ratio from 8.7 to 12.7, and under the [flight tuning] heading, I changed the elevator, aileron, and rudder effectiveness

I have been enlightened, too. Bookmarking this thread...
My changes:
Elevator, rudder and aileron effectiveness = all 1.2;
Prop = 3 blades;
Cylinders = 6;
Max HP = 300;
Cylinder displacement = 110;
Max speed = 374;
Max mach = 1.276...
I get almost 250 mph on the take-off run and it will climb almost vertically at 1500 fpm, indicating a 60 mph airspeed. The STALL flag is on, but who cares? Straight and level it will hit 235 mph. Much more fun now...

It might be fun but not exactly realistic.

Being that the Eagle exists in my machine at my leisure, it will perform as I desire. While it is configured well above what the actual item can do, it's great fun to have so much power at my fingertips. What I suppose I will eventually do is derate the performance so as to get my top speed at just below the red line. If I could find the same parameters for the many and various 747s I have, I'd set the overspeed to something like 750 knots to get rid of that annoying clicking sound...
