default planes

Postby harpo » Thu Oct 30, 2008 2:05 am

I"ve seen it say at different spots the "default dash 8..." and the "default md-83 or 80...", my question is, is there a certain version that these planes came with or what cause I know I've never had those planes...every once in a while I'll hear the computer using one of them....am I missing something or what?

Hi H...no...not missing anything ....look at airports and you will see them around...sometimes landing or taxiing etc....they are AI aircraft which you surely have heard of....part of the "living" scenery of the Sim....some fiddle around and make them flyable but they are pretty basic models and not worth the effort.(apart from the fun and knowledge gained)..if you want a Dash 8 better to get one of the many free downloads from our downloads section.

commoner....... ;)

Yes. The AI planes are chunky, blocky and not very pretty up close...
