Hi There,

I have just bought FS2004 as I have FSX which doesnt work properly on my current computer, I am going to get a new computer with and intel core duo 5 ghz in total approx with 160 gig of memory and 2 gig of ram and a Nvidia geforce 9600 series graphics card even if this doesnt play FSX will it be sufficient for FS2004 ? Do people here recommend FS2004 does it drain the computer resources like FSX or is it ok with a decent computer ? Are there plenty of free addons for FS2004 ? any help would be appreciated

Regards

Hello eddywinch82,

I don't know about FSX, but as far as I can see, FS2004 will run very well on the computer you're planning to get. My computer is slower, but I have no problems (I also have a Nvidia 9600 graphics card).

And yes, there are loads of excellent free addons for FS2004 to be found, beginning with this site.

Good luck!

Welcome to the World of FS 2004!.. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...!

Almost any computer will run FS 2004, and your particular set-up sounds admirable.

My lowly Socket A AMD 2600+ MMX (2.1 GHz) processor, with 2.3 GB of Memory, and nVidia 7800GS 256 AGP Graphics Card, runs FS 2004 with all the sliders set at Max...(Frame rate locked at 20 FPS for Multiplayer)... :)...!

...enjoy... [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]...!
