Sound file ungleutig

Postby gypsymoth » Sun Sep 14, 2008 2:23 pm

popped up after I'd installed Horst Paetzold's Bonanza's panel & a lot of freezing is going on.   I'd be grateful if someone would tell me what the problem is!    I've looked for a post to see if anyone else has had this problem but can't see anything recent.

Thanks,
TerryW.

Good morning Hagar.  I've checked your link & have put a sound.dll in my FS9 folder, module & panel folder but I still get that wretched warning!
The panel's for fs2004 from SimV, too & I'm using it in Mike Stone's V tailed Bonanza.
At the moment the whole thing freezes up when that warning shows so I'll see if I can find another panel & I'll email Mr.Paetzold too!!  Oh well - back to the Warrior!
ATB,
Terry.

Hi Terry. If you read the whole thread the problem was caused by 2 missing sound files - named click.wav & RA_BEEP.wav

These files are included with the Beechcraft B33 Debonair aircraft.* Not sure where I found it now. You could try a search for them on Google.

*The file is named b33.zip.

Hello again.  I eventually found a click file in this laptop so I put it in the sound folder but still got (obviously) that warning.  But, I found the other file in my other Dell so have copied that to this sound folder & all's well!
Now I must do something about a better engine sound - it's too much like a tin of angry bees!

Thanks for your help.
Terry.
