Virtual cockpit keyboard control

Hi, I'm a rookie pilot to FS2004.

I don't have a joystick at the moment to fly with, and I was wondering if it's possible to pan slowly around the cockpit in virtual cockpit with the keyboard as you would with a "hat" control.

I can look sharply left, right, etc. but I'd like to look up/down slowly with my keys :)

Any help, thank you! :D

Thanks. Yes, maybe. But if I didn't have one, what would I do to control the VC with the keyboard?

:'(

Oh, thanks; I didn't get any notification of that, but I'm checking it now.

Cheers!

Saitek AV8R-01, the best flight sim joystick on the market for about 40 bucks, It's got assignable toggles, a split throttle control for multi engines and it looks like something right out of a cockpit, not a computer gismo. Best Buy has got 'em or probably any large media store. If you get one let me know how you like it. I plan to be Buried with mine.
Your other advice is right on. If you're gonna sim-fly a joystick is pretty much a nessesity and much more enjoyable, Have fun

That looks like a very good stick, but can it be bought in Australia? or is it only an import peripheral?

Cheers :)

Helped me too!

My Logitech is showing signs of decay and hunting around the shops shows a dearth of joysticks at the moment.

Thanks Hagar.

Col.

The saitek AV8R is suspiciously absent from the list on the link that Hagar posted  :-? which is a shame because I completely agree with Jaypee, it's a great all around stick  8-)
I prefer to think of it as having 'prop and throttle control' as opposed to dual throttle  ;)
