Problem with altimeter

Hello,
I downloaded and installed a lot of civil and military jet aircraft. During the process I had to overwrite few gauges with same name and size. Such as f16.gau and other gauge share same name.  Also, same effects files. I didn't overwrite everything. I am having problem with my altimeter. When I bank plane to right altimeter moves to left and if I bank to left altimeter indicate plane is banking to right. However, when I change to spot or tower view banking plane works fine. It is only when in cockpit mode altimeter display opposite when banking. This problem only applies to add-on military and civil jet aircafts. Default boeing and jet aircrafts are not affected it. Also, prop plane with small files works fine. I just don't what is cause of malfunction of altimeter. Also, military jets are really sensative to joysticks.
Thanks and have nice day.

Hello. First of all you're not forced to overwrite anything. My advice would be not to overwrite existing gauges if prompted when installing new aircraft or panels.

Now to your problem. The altimeter indicates altitude or height. I think you mean attitude indicator. I've not experienced anything like this so it's difficult to suggest anything unless you can identify the defective gauge. You could do this by looking in the Panel.cfg of one of the affected aircraft. It doesn't sound like a default gauge so you would have to find a version of the gauge that works correctly.

Thanks for your advice. I suspect same thing;however, if I don't overwrite gauge file newly installed aircraft or panels doesn't display right.  Some times planes texture is missing and some of panels are missing. What do I do then? If I don't overwrite a gauge file plane doesn't display correctly or  missing panel. Such as no attitude indicator, compass, and others doesn't display? What should I do?

Install the gauges separately. There should be no need to overwrite individual gauge files in the Gauges folder. These will be duplicate files that you already have. Panel designers that know what they're doing will rename modified gauges to avoid conflicts with existing files. Missing gauges should not affect the aircraft textures.

You could always install the gauges into the Panel folder of the panel they belong to if you prefer. FS can read them from there & that way it's easy to trace problem gauges.
