How do I know when flying on new aircraft his rotation speed? And also how to know how much should I rotate the aircraft during takeoff (attitude)? I tried searching on the kneeboard on the reference page but rotation speed is never there and also I tried searching for it on Aircraft information under flight notes but again nothing says about rotation speed.

The takeoff speed is also different for different weight of the aircraft so how to deal with that?

How do I know how fast to fly on my landing approach? I only know those speeds for Cessna 172 and Beechcraft Baron 58 because Rod explained all during flying lessons but what if I wan't to fly in a new aircraft?

What if the aircraft can't lift itself at Vx or Vy, if it's too heavy? Do Vx and Vy speeds assume maximum weight of the aircraft like the white and green arc do? If they do then the aircraft will manage to lift at that airspeed.

The only reason an aircraft would not lift (and climb) at Vx or Vy would indeed be over loading.

If you are in an AC that you have no best rate of climb or approach speed info, then here is a little trick that should get you close within the numbers. take the dirty stall speed (bottom of the white arc) and times it by 1.6 that number will get you close to the correct approach speed (best glide) usually best glide speed and best rate of climb speed are usually similar if not the same.
So lets take a c172, dirty stall speed is just under 50kts, so 50x1.6=80 and sure enough 80kts is best rate of climb and glide in that AC.
Of course this method is just to get you close if you dont have the published numbers, and I wouldnt take it to the bank in anything to big  ;)
Be sure to check the manuals section in the download area here at Simv, there are alot of manuals to choose from there and they are quite nice looking little booklets after you print them out  8-)

well when you get the aircraft you want and the v speeds are not published.then as stated in another post you simply do the research.however on these fourms alot of us are pilots and could help you out with what the v speeds are or at least help direct you to a site. if we know the aircraft im sure we would be glad to offer you the imformation..
