FS9 Scenery Add Ons

Postby Bumkin » Tue Jul 29, 2008 11:24 am

I have downloaded numerous scenery add ons from Simviation and installed sucessfully (thanks to the instructions on this site) several.  If I install another file for the same area (different file name same geographic location) am I going to cause problems on my system when I select that location in "create flight"?

Depends on the type of scenery. Best way to find out is to try it. If you activate both areas via the Scenery Library it's easy enough to deactivate or remove one if there's a conflict.

Like Hagar said it can cause strange things especially at airports you could see strange things like a building in a building. As for general scenery you could have say two mountains at the same place and one would appear to be in the other one. 8-)
