PMDG 747-400

Hi guys,
I just got the PMDG Boeing 747-400 and when i try and start the APU i cant turn any switch(eg. Standby Power Selector) every other switch in the plane dont work either. All they do is turn left.

Ok i got another question.
When im going through the first office preflight checklist in the checklist provided. The screens start up and then a little while later they just go black, What am i doing wrong? it does it everytime.

Sounds like your battery ran dry, try activating ground power.

Note, i dont have the 747, but the 737 suffers the same problem when you dont activate ground power and the APU is still off.

Yeah, turn the APU on or activate ground power first, even before going through preflight.

And if it happens even with GP or the APU running, contact PMDG, as it could also be the anti-piracy programs shutting you down. (You didn't steal the plane from a torrent site, did you?)

yeah i remember this happening to alot of people when PMDG did they're free support on the AVSIM forums. 99.9% of the time the person didn't respond when piracy was brought up ;D
