Jaggies!!!

They're everywhere, and this PC is equipped with 2 nVidia 8800s with SLI!!! >:( You'd think I could get some decent anti-aliasing out of that.

Why is FS9 so stubborn about keeping its jaggies? I've turned every anti-aliasing setting in the control panel to max and it made no impact. Can anyone help me exorsize the jaggies?

(Note I have never worked with nVidia graphics cards before)

First thing is to make sure you are not letting FS9 do the anti-aliasing (turn off "application-controlled" in the nVidia panel, and also un-check that box in the FS9 Settings page).
Beyond that you just have to experiment, as far as I know.

OK, I've got anti-aliasing now, so time to enjoy my new super-powered rig. :)

Set-up dependent, I think. My system (with a Radeon) works better with the FS9-controlled AA turned on. Strange but true.

I believe its also a card problem.
Reading the nVidia and other forums, many 8800 cards had a hardware problem where the AA did not work, even though it showed it was on.
I had this with my original 8800GT512 and after it packed up for some other reason, I complained bitterly about the lack of AA and the company gave me this 8803GT52R2 which i believe has now been renamed to a 9800GT and here it has been fixed and works well.
Recently I installed nHancer just to see, and found it does a better job all round.
