to bouncy wheels for carrier landings

Hey is their a way to configure how bouncy your tires are because some of the vintage aircraft bounce ;D to much for carrier landings thanks phantomP

Yes, you can change the dynamics of the landing gear by editing the [Contact_points] section of the 'aircraft.cfg' file.

Any aircraft.cfg file of default aircraft will have a list of the 'value names' within each 'point.x=' line.  More detailed info can be found by downloading and installing the FS2004 Aircraft Container SDK.

As always, backup any file before editing.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
