Deleting aircraft

Postby sonic » Thu May 22, 2008 6:24 pm

I was wondering I am reinstalling the sim and rather than having to use aired to hide the default aircraft, can I just delete them except for the 172, I dont fly them and all the aircraft I fly has panels and sounds not aliased to the default. Will this cause problems?

What about the AI traffic. I would leave well alone. What harm does it do to leave them right where they are?

Nothing really just trying to cut back on space and make it easier to hide them I use world of ai for AI traffic but I guess I'll just keep using aired and hide them that way

If you have no need for them, you can delete them, it will cause no problems. I have several FS9 installs and have deleted all modern default ac in 2 of them (except for the 172).

Their easily recovered from the CD if needed.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

I have a constant worry about accidentally deleting "Default Aircraft"...

...and as for intensionally deleting them!... :o... :o... :o...!

For safety and simplification, I leave them exactly where that are... :-*...!

...no problems... :)...!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004... 8-)...!

Funny thing is....I mostly fly the Default Aircraft...for all sorts of reasons!...(details supplied upon request)...;)...!
