Hi, I think the only way is an aircraft with virtual cabin/cockpit. You can go inside everywere, seat and look throug windows, but need Virtual Camera (payware) or F1View (free) to go iniside.

Not necessary...
If aircraft has wings in vitrual cockpit mode (for example all Project Opensky models,Project Fokker models-almost all payware models)-you can set dynamic wing views in 2d cockpit view(I personally do it for rear right and rear left views). But basic understanding of views parameters of panel.cfg is needed. Its pretty simple-you can learn it by yourself by just looking through parameters and trying-changing-seeing result...Dont forget to backup original panel.cfg before...

Interesting... I wonder why in some VC you look back and see the 2 wings hang from nothing. I will try your sugestions. Thanks.

I think the rear of the aircraft disappears because the video card installed may not recognize that area because it's out of the sphere of human vision. Only Linda Blair can turn her head 360 degrees. I saw her do it in a movie back in 1974 or so. That's my take on it. Before I built this machine I had one 7900 GS card, and the back of my airplanes would disappear. Now, I can pan the entire way around and see everything.

You are wrong...
Rear part of the aircraft doesnt dissappear-it's just not there...Not made by developers...They make wings and sometimes gear in VC view just for the purpose I described-to give the model dynamic wing views...

So you are saying that the code for the airframe behind the VC  simply isn't in the program at all?

Sometimes only part of the wing is there

From the cocpit you see the front and top of the wing so to save polys the modeller may remove the underside and parts of the back of the wing....anything not visible from the cockpit.

This is to save on polys.

This will vary with the aircraft & how complex the visual model is. The interior views including exterior parts of the model are defined in the Virtual Cockpit (VC). Some 3rd party aircraft have no VC at all. There are 2D panels with extra side & rear view windows available for this type of model that give the appearance of a VC including some with wing views.

The principle is simple-what you can see when you switch to VC view is what exists in model and made by developers, what you cant see in VC just doesnt exists there and not made by developers.Yes,just doesnt exist in programm at all.

And little correction to what Hagar wrote-I would say not "some 3d-party aircraft have no VC at all"-just a few 3d party aircraft have it...And not many 3d party aircraft have even wings in VC...

Assuming we are talking about freeware stuff
