Need help Configuring New Yoke and Throttle

Postby Dan Morera » Wed Apr 30, 2008 10:05 pm

Hi guys I just received my brand new Saitek Pro Yoke with throttle quadrant and my CH pedals. I have been able to configure a few things using the payware FSUIPC module, but I can't get the FS to recognize my 2 right levers as "Prop" and "Mixture", and now my trim goes all the way down, if I click up it will go up but as soon as I release it will go down again.

This is the first time I try to do something like this and it's getting a bit frustrating.

If you can give a hand I would really appreciate it.

If you happen to be online my msn is Dan_loneshark@hotmail.com

Thanks in advance
Dan

UPDATE I just installed the factory CD and it got worst , plane is doing what ever it wants  >:( >:(

I'm only guessing here, but...

...as the Flight Yoke will be peculiar to the Flight Sim...
I assume you set the control configuration for each device in the drop-down "Keyboard Assignments" Menu?

By the side of each assignment there is a "slider bar" to adjust the sensitivity of the device...."increment", or "return to neutral"...etc...;)...!

Go to "sensitivity" section. For some reason default sensitivity for prop and mixture levers for Saitek throttle quadrant is 0...

And just for your info:
you dont need fsuipc to assign, for example, reverse thrust on throttle lever, since it's acts as a button...Many new Saitek Yoke users dont know this and start digging deeply in fsuipc complicated command assignments, when its done simply by fs default buttons...

Somewhare on Pet Dowson's FSUIPC support forum is a link to a pdf file that someone wrote on configuring throttle quads and yokes and pedals via the registered version of FSUIPC.  It is a great document.  Do some looking around over there.

best,
