I want to do a clean uninstall/install and SP1 install of FS9 because I'm sick and tired of wating 5 minutes for FS9 to start up when FSX only takes about 10 seconds. (Vista SP1) I tried uninstalling using the Programs And Features...clicked uninstall MSFS2004...nothing happens. Went to the FS9 directory and used the UNINSTALL.EXE...nothing also. Inserted disk #1 and ran the uninstall...says initializing Uninstall...then nothing. Ran windows install clean up utility, doesn't show up there. Help? Tried restarting...nothing.

:D  Good luck with that.  I have my FS9 so loaded with add-ons it would take me a month just to re-install everything.  Of course, I would take the time to do it.

There is one other way I'd suggest for the future. Works like a dream, and it will get rid of everything FS9 related.

A simple HDD re-format will clean 'er up real good.
