Hi, flyinghero14,

I like to fly short distances (in a 737, most of the time). For instance, Montevideo to Buenos Aires, Geneva to Milan (nice views of the Alps!!!), Frankfurt to Amsterdam, Alexandria to Cairo, Bombay to Poona. More to do in the cockpit!

However, I once flew a 747 from Amsterdam to New York (I saved the flight in between, felt a bit like cheating) and a few days ago I flew from Chania (Crete) to Amsterdam in a Transavia 737, a trip I once made in real life (as a passenger). It took me three hours and I forgot about the fuel: when I landed, my fuel tanks were almost empty. So it's lucky that I'm not a real pilot.

I wish you a nice flight on your 767!

PGW

All my flying time involves only General Aviation, light aircraft, (Cessna 152 to Beech Baron), filing flight plans for safety, and taking short hops from airfield to airfield, exploring the amazing countryside around me from a height of between 1,000 and 5,000 feet AGL, and learning all about the area I am visiting...with the help of Google...

...something which I could never afford to do in real life!

For me, that's what Flight Simming is all about...Both fun, and education!... ;)...!

I mostly do 4 hrs maximum,my favorite legs to do are Singapore(Using the quality The Very Singapore by Samsoft) To Hong Kong,Singapore To Bangkok,Manchester To Milan,Zurich To Dusseldorf,Geneva To Manchester.

I love flying heavies,747,777 etc,although for the European legs I use a 737,757 or a Airbus A320.

It's good fun in heavies for me.

My self I do both long flights and short jumps I will take a B747 or an A340 to a large airport and then jump into a Cessna or Mooney or sometimes a Barron or King Air and jump from town to town this way I do  both get to see the country side at the lower flight levels plus get some flying time in the heavies cruising at FL 315 and above. 8-)

I usually run shorter hops around the US in my corporate or regional jets.  Probably my longest was DFW to St. Maarten in the Meljet 777.

I normally fly any jet from manchester (EGCC) to menorca (LEMH). The trip takes about 2 hours. I like to go on holiday there, so i thought to try the flight, and there is some nice scemery to fly over (I think)!!

Also i fly around the three islands (Menorca, Palma, and Ibiza) in a learjet or a mooney bravo. Offer some nice relaxing flying (for me any way)!

I usually split my time between flying in Australia with the excellent VOZ addon, or Norway, with a few addons that enhance that location almost to the level of VOZ. (Yes I know this sounds strange, especially since I live in the US...)

I usually do flights of at most two hours, usually one, or one and a half.
Almost always under an IFR flightplan.

The aircraft that I currently use are:

Tupolev Tu-154M (freeware) http://www.fs-proteam.com/products.html ... tt=catalog

Beechcraft/Raytheon B200 King Air (payware) http://www.aeroworx.com/

NAMC YS-11 (freeware)

(Most up to date version available at Avsim. Version 2.7)

Cessna 182RG Skylane II (payware)

Like Fozzer, most of my flying is done in Vintage and General Aviation aircraft, peacefully puffin' around the countryside at my own lesiure... ;D

I do GA and commercial flights. I rarely fly commercially anymore though due to time. My favorite route is from KLAX to KLAS in a Southwest 737-700. GA flights I go anywhere. Time constraints are around 45min to 1hr. Never a long flight. ;)

I rarely have the time or patience to properly set up a long flight, but lately I've been checking out trips I want to make in the near future in RL, mostly in a neat little freeware Cessna 140 that I found here.

MSFS... deluxe chair-flying! ;D

I like to do about 3 hour flights in my jet2 757 from newcastle(EGNT) to murcia airport(LELC) in spain. Though the approach course into murcia is picturesque but annoying! ;D
