Brisol Britannia Repaints

I am having a problem with the repaint from Page 98, props, the RAF repaint for Mike Stone`s Britannia,, the repaint loads ok but there is only partial cover of the plane, I would be pleased to hear from anyone with any ideas, even more pleased with a solution,....thanks

Hi again. I just checked the files out. This repaint might be intended for a different base model Britannia as some of the texture file names are slightly different from those in the existing Texture folder. For example; the main fuselage texture in the new Texture.xm496 folder is named fuslgc_t.bmp. Rename the file to fuslg_t.bmp for it to display correctly.

Your knowledge amazes me, thankyou again! I have a perfect RAF Brit, I never realised it is so easy to alter a texture, I must take a tutorial in repaints.

I've been doing this for a long time now. It's not difficult to troubleshoot these things once you know the basic principles. If the base model & repaint are installed correctly the main reasons for a texture not displaying are that the file is missing, it's in the wrong format or has the wrong file name. You can check the file names by comparing them with the textures in the original aircraft.
