So how do we go about getting this new look????

Mess around in the UIRES folder

.....mmm.....looks nice  and no Jaggies...but can I pick my own colour?...pretty pink or a nice pale primrose would be nice. Or a camouflage effect for the warbirds amongst us 8-)

I rather preferred the spots around the corners... ...!

It gave it a sort of...."Homely" look... ...!

There is no box to tick for "Don't Care"... ...!
...for all those who spend their time Flying, rather than spending all day admiring various FS9 Menus... ...!

Would it be possible to make the main menu bigger? So that it fills the whole screen. I use a higher resolution and my monitor is just 17". To have it fill the screen would be nice, I always thought.

Otherwise I don't care much either about the menu. Your design is more appealing though, no doubt...looks cool.

Yep...It should be perfectly okay...If they didn't want us to mess around with it, they should've hard coded it...Like some things in FS9 (ATC being one)

Exactly! I wouldn't mind a FSXy look, a rainbow look, or a navy-on-black myself.

i like the way it looks....plus i like the textures on that cessna....any chance for a link to the textures?

No i'm afraid not unless you set the setting to 800x600 or resizing everything.

What exact changes would one have to make to get this nice, new look?

You need a formater for formating after edit. [8-bit,16-(555)]

And good paint program. [Corel Paint Shop Pro X,etc...]

Plus a good head for designing.

It would be nice to have some time to do it with.
