fellas,

I was tickeled pink to find out that many FS9 Planes work in 2k2.

I recently downloaded team KBT's Super hornet (absolutely supurb plane!!) however, it has some funny stall chareteristics, and i had to get a new panel, b/c the original did not work. but it reads my airspeed at only 40-60 Kts , yet I can get off the ground and do barrel rolls to no end :o  but when i pull up, it more so stalls than pulls around.

is there some simple conversion here, or do i have to simpleput up with it??

I am not aware of any quick cure nor have I heard of the problem you seem to be having. The only problems I am aware of with FS8 aircraft in FS9 is missing engine fans landing gear and some other parts of the aircraft. I have not heard of any changes in aircraft dynamics. But you can try fine tuning it in the AIRCRAFT cfg file and the .air file for that air craft 8-)

It would help if you posted a link to the page where this aircraft is posted.

If it has a proper FS9 visual model conforming to the FS2004 SDKs it won't display in FS2002. That means it is either an existing FS2002 model updated for FS9 or an early FS9 model created with the FS2002 SDK. If it's the former the best thing would be to look for the original FS2002 version. In both cases it might well have FS9 flight dynamics which won't be fully compatible with FS2002.

I'm geusing that it is configured to fs9, causing the funny stall charecteristics.

You could try this one by the same team. http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military19.htm
I haven't tried it but according to the description it should work in FS2002.

It's not a major crisis. Accept it. There are hundreds of quality downloads for FS2002.
