I think you need to have installed FSUIPC to make them work. Have you tried hitting the ALT button and checking the menu for the cockpit displays to see if they're enabled as well?

The 3d cockpit on the F-16 is like that. There are no gauges in it nor a hud. Only the 'blank' background picture of the cockpit.

Crash ;)

I believe, but am not positive, that if you download Mr. Olssen's Norwegian F-16 package, it is configured for a partially working virtual cockpit. The package can be found here on Simviation, as well as the other usual sites. http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military106.htm  Vipernor.zip.

:-? My HUD works in VC.

It's been so long since I did it, but think I'm using a different panel config. that came with either an update for, or a different release of that panel. I think I kept the original panel bitmaps and gauges that came with the Viper download, but replaced the panel.cfg with an updated one. I'm sorry, I just can't recall right now, but I'll look through my backups later to see what I did.

I think there's a couple of F-16 panels in the Panels section, take a look.  Sometime ago I downloaded an F-16 panel that works properly in 2D and 3D, sorry, can't recall exact details, but try them all.
