Ken Mtichell's at POSKY A330

Postby aritrixa » Sat Dec 29, 2007 12:35 am

Fellows,

Tried to use search facility, but could not get what I was looking for.

Does any of you combine Ken Mtichell's panel Airbus with A330-300 POSKY? Does it works?
Could you please share. Thanks.

Oh, another tiny "problem"  ;)
I don't know why that I lost my axis indicator (the small-red V than can be turn it on/off via view options). I know, it is not critical for flying, but to me yes.. :) as I used to use it since the first day in FS with props, especially when did a landing lesson. I miss it so much.. :)
Anyone can help?

Thanks for stopping by in this post...

Good morning aritrixa.

Yes, I use Ken Mitchell's panel with the Posky A330-300, and it works fine. What specifically would you like help with?

The axis indicator is found in the 'views' menu, under 'view options' - the selection box is at lower left.

Hi Microlight...

Thanks..
Great to see the virtual cockpit. How? Mine doesn't have VC.....
Looks that we have different version of Ken's?

My problem with mine is: when I am about 25-30 nm to destination, I could not hear/receive the ILS signal tune (I had my NAV1 frequency set and switched on). I have to push the the switch on/off several time before finally I get the tune. Normally the signal/tune is automatically detected, isn't it?

As for axis indicator...
Yes, I know it where to activate it, but the red-v never appear in my screen either I tick it or not...
Strange...
Looks that I have to live without it now...huhuhu... :'(

Thanks anyway...

The VC/no VC versions are both downloadable from the Posky website.

The distance that the ILS frequency can be picked up varies from airport to airport depending on the settings of the AFCAD file for the airport you're flying to. Localizers for ILS-equipped airports kick in normally around 20-23 miles, with the glideslope following a little later at maybe 16-18 miles.
