Adjusting the brakes

Hi all,
This question has probably been asked a number of times, but after using 'search' and surfing through the threads, I have drawn a blank.
Can anyone tell me if its possible to adjust the braking system of aircraft with any cfg file. I am using the Rick Piper Viscount 800, and the slightest touch on the trigger dips the nose lower than bowing to the queen. Some of my other aircraft do this, example Iris F15...others do not, example again...the DM VC10.
I use the Saitek X52 stick system, could it be related to this?
Hope someone can help, if not I'll grin and bear it.  :(

Lastly....after surfing through pages of threads, could I ask people who have a question to ask, to use a specific title...not such as 'I have a question', etc etc. This would save many of us time when searching for a topic answer  ;)

Make a backup of the aircraft.cfg file (just in case)..

Look for this paragraph:

[brakes]
parking_brake = 1       //Parking brake available
toe_brakes_scale = 1.0  //Brake scalar
auto_brakes = 0

Change the,  toe_brake_scalar  to something less than 1.0, by 0.1 at a time... then fine tune it by 0.05.

Maybe start with 0.75 ?

Is it touchy brakes or too soft suspension? You might end up not being able to stop or end up needing a lot more runway to stop in. Also if the brakes are too weak you'll creep when doing your runup.

I think the problem is not in the brakes but the suspension.  I've had several aircraft do this from a Posky 747 to a iFDG A320.  They really bow down when it comes to braking then spring back up once stopped.  Lightly loaded it actually flipped an A320 on its tail after a hard stop :o  Almost has to be suspension that needs adjusted.

If someone knows how to work on the suspension systems then should be problem solved :-/

Thanks for the response fellas,
I reckon you could be right...I altered the cfg as first advised...yes, not so much dipping...but.....as you suggest....treading the pedal till boots go through floor to hit tarmac... ;D   ;D   have you seen hobnails spark  :o
Seriously...I think it could be a combination of both, Suspension and toe brakes scaler....I await with interest...and as always..thanks for the input

**** Remeber that backup  ****

You'll have to get into the 'Contact Points' paragraph, in the aircraft.cfg file... this can get messy...

The first point (point.0) is normally the nose wheel....

[quote]I have always played 'wary' with the contact points, not really knowing too much about them. Just out of curiosity, where do you find that info, examlpe you knew number 11 was nosewheel (or is it trade secrets)
