I am familiar with the locations of the files in 2004 but am unable to figure out how to get the VC working in some of my addon planes.. I am not a fan of seeing the wings and landing gear while sitting in the captainss chair or seeing nothing but outside views,no bulkheads on left and right views.
I put in a great addon cockpit for all twin-engines jets, download from here, and it worksgreat. How can a person use the VC from the plane that the addon is Aliased to??
Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Not possible I'm afraid. The DVC is part of the visual model, not the panel. If an aircraft has no DVC there's nothing you can do about it.
Some 2D panels have extra view windows to give interior views on aircraft with no VC. This idea was popular on FS2000 panels as the DVC was not supported before FS2002 was released.

If you can find a jet with surrounding 2D views that look similar to the panel in the one you have you can edit those in as 2D views. That won't give you a VC like experience but you will get more than just open air when you look left and right. Actually if the jet is similar enough you can just copy the Panel folder to your current jet and use the whole panel.

Thanks.
I have been attemting to do just that. There already is a Super Boeing panel out there that works fine in the 2d mode, for some of the Boeing 2 engine aircraft.
I am still attempting to locate something that works for the rest of the craft and of course , learn a little more on how it is done.
Any more help would be appreciated.

Sorry but as I said earlier the DVC is part of the visual model. It's hard coded into the MDL file & not possible to use the VC from another aircraft.
This could be done in FSX as the VC on the default aircraft uses a separate MDL file.
