ive tried through headphones (different audio jack) and also the monitor speakers... it no worky, but it does when doing windows stuff- so its not the connections

Check to see if your FSSound.dll is in the FS9/Modules folder. It sounds like it has been wiped ;)

It is on one of the CDs... but I can't remember which at the minute. I'll have to find the disks first, best if you just search the CDs yourself (it'll take me a while to find) but it should be in one of the .cab files if memory serves ;)

The sound file you're looking for is in the .cab file on either disk 2 or 3 (ages since I've done this so I can't remember for sure). But if you're running XP or Vista just double-click the file (don't do a right-click) and you should be able to extract it to your HD like a zip file and browse ;)

Just try checking each disk, the file has to be there ;)

Are you sure about this Mark? I thought FSSound.dll is a 3rd party module.

I think it is default Doug.... mind you I've had so many problems with my FS9 sound I have started to lose track! I'm still looking for the disks to check... I must stop the wife reorganising things so I can't find anything ;D

I think you're confusing the file name. I'm certain that FSSound.dll is an old 3rd party module. It's included with a lot of FS2002 panels.

machineman. I don't understand how installing a panel would affect the sound in FS9. If you tell me exactly where to download it I'll check it out for you.

777-GE-90 " The real deal " Version 2

here

i copied all the files to the FS9 sounds folder... and replaced the 777-300's sound.dll file with the one in the pack. i have been installing and uninstalling other 3rd party aircraft today too.. but i havent messed with the sounds

OK. I'm downloading it now.

I suppose you didn't press the Q key by accident?

Not sure why you did that. The file is an ordinary replacement sound pack for the 777 aircraft. To install it replace the Sound folder of your 777-300 with the one in the download. No sound.dll is included.

This is copied from the included instructions.

This is the 777 Ge-90 the real deal V.2 a completely new soundpack both internal / external

install : go to your Boeing 777-xxx folder ( with the GE-90 engine ) and replace the sound folder with my soundpack.
