Trim Adjustment

Hello to the group, just installed FS2004 and a few complete addons, and my FS2004 shows version 9.1. Seems to work basically well.

How do I adjust the elevator trim in flight? And do I need any other updates?

TIA Mike

Welcome, Mike  - have you got treats in store for you! Our friendly correspondents will be able to help you with almost all your FS9 needs... just ask.

If you're 9.1, you're good to go.

I have the elevator trim (up and down) mapped to buttons on my joystick - you can set this in 'settings/assignments'. Otherwise it's numeric keys 1 and 7 on your keyboard.

;)

Hey Microlight, thanks for the info. I mapped the buttons and works great. I saw the keyboard numbers but they didn't seem to work, maybe because the joystick is actuated.

Now I have to check out why the news link doesn't work in FS2004.

I'm amazed at all the planes out there, and variety. I flew ultralights for a long time, and found a nice one for FS2004, the Skyseeker. Going to look for a hang glider too.

Nice Mitchell wing pic, I've seen a few but never seen one fly....Regards[quote]Welcome, Mike

Welcome to the forums Mike,

If you like flying ultralights you might want to have a look at Rick Piper's newly released A22 Foxbat, one of the best freeware sports/light planes available in my opinion.

Cheers,

TSC.
