Whenever I try to open the display options window, all I get is the new rough equivalent to ther Blue Screen of Death:

"FS9 has encountered a problem and needs to close."

Something got corrupted, but where?

It may seem rudimentary, but try making a new fs9.cfg.

That did the trick, as I thought. Thanks for the second opinion!
